Knights Hold Steady Following Day Two at UCF Challenge

ORLANDO – The UCF women's golf team held steady in the second and third rounds of play at the UCF Challenge on Monday at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, finishing with a score of 287(-1) in round two. The Knights are sitting at 2-under in round three to hold 11th place heading into the final day.
 
Due to expected inclement weather on Tuesday, teams played into round three on Monday. The Knights were able to make it through 12 rounds. Round three will conclude early Tuesday morning.

Junior Tunrada Piddon led the charge once again for the Knights on day two, building on a strong day one where she posted a 5-under 67. Piddon shot 71(-1) in the second round and she is currently 2-under in the round three, bringing her to 8-under as it stands, tying her for sixth place.
 
Behind Piddon was freshman Zoe Allaux who also built on a solid round one with a 1-under 71 second round. Like Piddon, Allaux is in the top 10 following the second day (T-9). She is currently 2-under into the third round and 6-under-par in the tournament.
 
UCF sophomore Camille Banzet climbed into third place among Knights after posting a 74(+2) second round. She is currently at 1-under in round three.
 
Meanwhile, graduate student Ana Laura Collado shot an even 72 in the second round and is at 3-over-par in round three, while sophomore Jess Baker tallied a 1-over 73 round two and is also sitting at 3-over to start the final round.
 
Playing as individuals, freshman Victoria Levy posted a 82(+10) second round but is at 2-under in round three, while senior Alyssa Lamoureux turned in a 76(+4) second round total and is 1-over-par to open round three.
