ORLANDO, Fla. – The No. 25 UCF men's tennis team is ready for a weekend in North Carolina as the Knights take on No. 10 Wake Forest on Friday, February 4, and No. 24 NC State on Sunday, February 6.
 
Both matches will have live stats and will be live streamed.
 
The Knights have already faced three top-15 teams this season and is prepped to take on two more ranked teams, including the top-10 team of Wake Forest.
 
Last time out, the Knights hosted the ITA Kickoff Weekend for the first time in program history. UCF defeated Louisville in the first round, 4-3, as Trey Hilderbrand and Cooper White clinched the doubles point and Hilderbrand clinched the match with a three-set comeback win on court one in singles. The Knights then fell to No. 14 Stanford in the Championship match.
 
THE FIELD
THE DEACONS
No. 10 Wake Forest is already 9-1 overall and 9-0 at home this season, including six sweeps while its only loss came from No. 1 Tennessee by a score of 4-3.
 
The Deacons also most recently hosted ITA Kickoff Weekend and defeated both No. 16 Michigan and Notre Dame to advance to the ITA National Indoors.
 
Four Deacons are ranked in singles: No. 75 Filippo Moroni, No. 85 Jakob Schnaitter, No. 100 Taha Baadi, and No. 117 Robert Maciag while three doubles are also ranked: No. 19 Siddhant Danthia/Jakob Schaitter, No. 26 Ben Draper/Robert Maciag, and No. 50 Siddhand Banthia/Juan Lopez De Azcona.
 
Wake Forest leads the all-times series between the two teams, 3-1, but the Knights won the last meeting by a score of 4-3 last season.
 
THE WOLFPACK
No. 24 NC State is 3-1 overall and 2-0 at home this season with wins over Princeton, Campbell, and No. 25 Illinois. Its only loss came from No. 18 Ole Miss in the championship match of the ITA Kickoff Weekend, ending its chance to advance to ITA National Indoors.

One member of the Wolfpack is ranked in singles, No. 36 Robin Catry.
 
The Knights and the Wolfpack have not seen each other in dual season since 1994 where UCF triumphed over NC State by a score of 6-1.
