Hunter Patteson improved to 2-0 on the season Sunday, worked seven innings of two-hit baseball, as the Knights too the series from Sun Belt Conference runner-up Georgia Southern with a 10-1 victory. Patteson fanned a career-high 10 batters, a week removed from a nine-strikeout outing against Siena. The lefty went four no-hit innings, before allowing his first hit of the day. Patteson leads the Knights with 19 strikeouts and is one of 84 players nationally to post a 0.00 ERA.
The Knights will be back in action tomorrow, March 1, as they host Stetson on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. from John Euliano Park.
