UCF will get a chance to climb the rankings right away, as they're scheduled to face UC Santa Barbara in the first match and either No. 25 Auburn or Arizona State in the second match of the ITA Kickoff Weekend later this month.
The Black and Gold had a strong fall campaign as the team was seen five times in the 2021 ITA's End of the Year Rankings, which was three more than in the fall preseason rankings.
Evgeniya Levashova led the way, moving up 43 spots to No. 37 while Valeriya Zeleva ranked No. 64. Marie Mattel jumped into the rankings, earning the No. 102 spot.
The duo of Levashova and Zeleva teamed up to grab the No. 50 spot while Mattel and Nandini Sharma came in at No. 55.
Stay tuned for the 2022 ITA Preseason Singles and Doubles rankings.
