UCF Announces 2022 Rowing Schedule

ORLANDO – Head coach Becky Cramer has announced the 2022 UCF Rowing schedule, which features a pair of races on Lake Pickett.

The Knights open the season at home, welcoming Jacksonville and UConn to Orlando on March 18.

UCF head out on its first trip of the season at the end of the month, heading to Virginia for the UVA Invite on March 26.

The Knights make their way across the state for the Sunshine State Invite April 1-2 at Nathan Benderson Park. UCF is quite familiar with the Sarasota course, which has hosted the Sunshine State Invite for the last five years. Nathan Benderson Park will once again play host to the NCAA Rowing Championships in May. UCF and Sarasota hosted the 2018 and 2021 championships.

The Knights head to Iowa for one final outing before the conference meet. UCF joins Minnesota, Oregon State, USC, Wisconsin and the Hawkeyes for the Iowa Invite on April 29.

The Black and Gold seek their sixth league title in the last eight years when the squad returns to Oak Ridge, Tenn., on May 15. Melton Lake served as the host of the 2021 championship where the Knights finished as the league's runner-up.

The 2022 NCAA Championships take place May 27-29 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla.
