What’s New and Returning to UCF Football Gameday in 2021

ORLANDO – The long-awaited return of UCF football is just days away. After an adjusted 2020 season, UCF Athletics is proud to welcome back Knight Nation in full force to the Bounce House in 2021. Below you will find new experiences and returning highlights that fans will need to know about before heading to the stadium this fall.  

        NEW

  • Coaching Staff – New head coach Gus Malzahn is excited to kick things off in his first season at UCF, and he has put together a tremendous coaching staff that is ready to go in 2021. To learn more about the new staff click here

  • Student Tickets – There is a new process for claiming your Knightmare student section passes through the UCF Gameday App. For a step-by-step guide, click here. All currently enrolled UCF students can claim a free pass for all regular season games. Claiming a pass does not guarantee admission, as entrance is on a first come, first-served basis for the first 12,000 students. Arrive early. Student gates (Gates 6-9) open two hours before kickoff. A student section pass, and valid UCF ID are required for entrance. 

  • Knightmare Society  Joining the Knightmare Society offers a fast pass to all members on game days, which allows them to bypass the normal student line and enter through Gate 14. To join the Knightmare Society click here

  • FansWear – Here is what to wear for each home game in 2021. 

  • Concession Items: 

  • Jeremiah's Citronaut Flavor will be now offered at all?three locations: Gate 5, 12, and 17/18. 

  • Knights Nation Grill introduces the Ultimate Burger topped with a Buffalo Chicken Tender. 

  • O-Town Link introduces a new dessert for students: Mini Bundt Cakes. 

  • Senor Knightro's will now offer Fish Tacos. 

  • Premium Areas: 

  • Sonny's BBQ will have three locations: one in the Stadium Club and two in the Cabana. 

  • Stadium Club Concessions will feature two new items: garlic cheese knots with a side of marinara sauce and truffle parmesan pretzel fries. 

  • No bag check available – There is NO ability to check bags at the stadium. Click here to familiarize yourself with the Clear Bag Policy prior to arriving at the Bounce House. 

  • Parking Garage H  Fans without game day parking permits  can park in Garage H for $20. Payments can be made with cash or credit cards. Donations support scholarships for UCF students.  

    RETURNING 

  • 100% Capacity – The Bounce House is back to 100% capacity! A very limited number of season and single-game tickets are still available. 

  • Doing the Knight Thing – We're excited to welcome our fans back to UCF!?Our Knights family expects all our fans to do their part to help us complete a successful 2021 season. That means taking precautions to help slow the spread of COVID-19, protect those around you, including our student-athletes and coaches. We strongly encourage all our fans to get vaccinated if you can do so. We strongly recommend that all our fans wear masks while indoors, which is in line with the latest CDC guidelines. Although most of our stadium is outdoors, please keep in mind that some areas, such as rest rooms, are indoors. Masks will be available at locations inside the stadium for fans who need them. We encourage you to wash your hands frequently, and there will be hand-sanitizer stations available throughout the stadium. If you have COVID-19, are not feeling well, or are in quarantine, please stay home and do not come to the game. You can easily transfer your tickets to friends or family online or post your tickets for resale through your UCF Account Manager. 

  • Tailgating – Oh yeah! It's back!!

  • Digital Tickets – Beginning last year, UCF Athletics transitioned to digital tickets, joining our Orlando and NCAA counterparts. All season tickets, group tickets, and single-game tickets are available digitally through the UCF Gameday app or your phone's web browser. For a full guide to Digital Ticketing click here

  • Knight Walk – Welcome your UCF Knights to the stadium at the Knight Walk, approximately?two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff. Social distancing will be enforced for the safety of our student-athletes and coaches. 

  • March to Victory – 90 minutes prior to kickoff, join the Marching Knights and the UCF spirit team in front of Addition Financial Arena (Knights Plaza) for the fan march to the stadium. 

  • IOA Plaza Activities – The Tailgate Concert Series, IOA Plaza pregame festivities, March to Victory, and Knights Walk are back this season! Each game will feature different attractions, entertainment, and a concert for you and your family to enjoy. 

  • 'The First Bounce' Pregame Show – You don't want to miss the first bounce of the game, do you? 25 minutes before kickoff, the Marching Knights and the UCF Spirit Team are all back on the field this season for the pregame show leading up to the First Bounce, intro video and team entrance.  

  • Pyrotechnics – Fireworks, CO2 cannons, and water cannons are back for the team entrance and after every UCF touchdown. We plan to see a lot of them! 

  • Digital Game Programs – Free digital game day programs will be available for download each game. 

  • Park and Ride – Don't want to deal with parking on campus? Park and Ride services will be available on all home game days from four hours before kickoff until two hours after the game ends. Fans should park at the Research Pavilion, located at 12424 Research Parkway in the Central Florida Research Park, adjacent to campus. Shuttles will transport fans from the Research Pavilion to the Research 1 bus loop, adjacent to Parking Garage C.  For more info click here

  • Post-Game Traffic Patterns – The contraflow post game traffic plan takes place from 90 minutes after kickoff until the postgame. We urge all fans to research the best route to their destination from their campus exit point ahead of time. For post-game traffic pattens click here
