UCF Extends 3.0 GPA Streak to 28 Semesters

ORLANDO – UCF Athletics continued its record-setting performance in the classroom as the Knights extended their streak to 28 consecutive semesters with a department grade-point average of 3.0 or better.

UCF student-athletes compiled a combined 3.33 GPA for the fall 2021 semester, which also marked the 10th straight semester of a 3.2 GPA or better as a department.

UCF has posted a department-wide GPA of 3.3 or better seven times in the last eight years. The Knights have not turned in a semester below a 3.0 since the spring of 2016. The top eight marks in school history have come over the last 10 semesters as the Knights continued to win championships in their field of competition.

This semester, 70 percent (297) of student-athletes achieved at least a 3.0 GPA and 58 Knights (14%) recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA. Fourteen of UCF's 16 teams earned over a 3.0, with 13 turning in team GPAs of 3.2 or better.

The UCF volleyball team, which won its fourth-straight American Athletic Conference championship in November, posted the highest overall GPA at 3.69 while the men's golf team earned the highest GPA of all the men's programs with a 3.51.
