Two Knights Reel in All-Region Honors

Orlando, Fla. – At the conclusion of the 2021 campaign, two members of the UCF women's soccer team were recognized by the United Soccer Coaches Association. Darya Rajaee earned second team all-region accolades while Kristen Scott collected third team all-region recognition.
 
Earning her first all-region honor, Kristen Scott led the UCF offense with 10 goals and three assists, tallying 23 points. Her 10 goals marks a career-high and is second in The American. The Orlando, Fla. native picked up an Offensive Player of the Week and two honorable mentions on the way to earning First Team All-Conference honors.
 
Darya Rajaee is also earning her first all-region honor after being named the American Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Year and to First Team All-Conference. The Knights relied on Rajaee in the midfield as she tallied a career-high three goals and three assists on the year.
 
The Knights finished with an 8-7-1 overall record, 3-4-1 in American Athletic Conference, and entered The American Championship tournament as the sixth seed.
