ORLANDO – The UCF women's basketball team returns to Addition Financial Arena on Sunday to host Belmont.
 
The game tips off at 2:00 p.m. ET at Addition Financial Arena. The game will stream on ESPN+.

LAST TIME OUT
UCF picked up its first road win of the season with a dominating 59-38 victory over Virginia. It was a balanced attack for the Knights as nine scored and Tay Sanders, Brittney Smith and Alisha Lewis all finished in double figures.
 
The Knights defense remained solid, holding the Cavaliers to 38 points and forcing 22 turnovers. The Black and Gold also held a 39-23 rebounding edge.
 
KNIGHT NOTES

  • The Knights are back among the top five in the nation in scoring defense, allowing just 42.0 points per game. UCF has held each of its first three opponents under 50 points.
  • The Black and Gold have forced each opponent this season into at least 20 turnovers and rank 25th among Division I programs. UCF has also tallied double figure steals in each contest this season and ranks 33rd with 12.3 steals per game.
  • Diamond Battles and Tay Sanders pace the Knights, averaging 13.7 and 10.0 points per game, respectively.
  • Destiny Thomas leads UCF and ranks 42nd among Division I players this season with 10.0 rebounds per game.
  • Alisha Lewis averages 3.3 assists per contest and joins Battles with 2.3 steals per game.
  • Brittney Smith registered her first double-double of the season and the fifth of her career with 12 points and 10 rebounds at Virginia.

SCOUTING BELMONT
Belmont currently sits at 3-1 with wins over Chattanooga, Ole Miss, and Alabama A&M. The Bruins' lone loss came against No. 17 Georgia Tech. Belmont joined UCF among the teams receiving votes in the USA Today/WBCA Top 25 poll.
 
The Bruins average 64.5 points per game, and rank 17th nationally with 33 made three-pointers on the season. Belmont also ranks 35th with 39 steals.
 
Destinee Wells leads the Bruins with 18.8 points per game and has dished out 20 assists this season. Tuti Jones averages 12.0 points per contest. Conley Chinn and Tessa Miller lead Belmont on the boards with 5.3 rebounds per game each. Jamilyn Kinney has a team-leading eight steals.
 
The Knights hold a narrow 5-4 lead in the all-time series 5-3, but the Bruins have won the last two meetings. The teams competed against each other as members of the ASUN from 2001-05.
