Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for DeLisle

ORLANDO, Fla. – Knights goalkeeper, redshirt junior Caroline DeLisle was named the American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, the league announced on Monday. The AAC also announced Ellie Moreno as a member of this week's Honor Roll.
 
DeLisle tallied a career-high 11 saves in the contest against the highest-ranked program in The American, keeping the game within reach for the Knights. The Tampa, Fla. native saw 23 shots from the Mustangs, 12 of which were on goal. This season, Caroline DeLisle carries an 83.6% save rate while maintaining 1.11 goals per game average. The honor is the second Goalkeeper of the Week award of the season for DeLisle.
 
Forward Ellie Moreno was also named to the league's Honor Roll after netting UCF's equalizing goal in the 81st minute against SMU.  The goal is her second of the season, as the Knights move to 5-4-1 with the draw.
 
UP NEXT
The Knights return to the UCF Soccer Complex for the latest edition of the War on I4, set for Thursday, October 8, 2021. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET, and will be streamed on ESPN+.
