When UCF first dropped its new script helmet design against Bethune-Cookman earlier this year, it was heralded by many fans as one of the flat-out coolest things the Knights have worn. So it would really be a disservice to not give fans more of such an awesome decal.
The Knights are breaking out the chrome script logo once again on Saturday against Temple, but this time it will be paired with an all-new combo: white helmets, white knighthead jerseys and black pants.
The white knightheads are the youngest jerseys in UCF's arsenal, making their first appearance back in 2018, and have been used for a few stellar road looks over the last couple years. This one might be the best of the bunch.
The chrome gold decals will now have a chance to play off the gold numbers of the jersey. The black collar does a great job of tying in the black pants to the combo. It's a look that flows perfectly from head to toe and is another great "on-brand" uniform for the Knights, featuring gold so prominently.
It's yet another example of UCF's uniform versatility that this is technically the second time we are seeing white/white/black this year from the Knights. But the first time against Navy featured the white pegasus jersey and a black knighthead decal. The "same" combo by color, but two dramatically different looks. The Knights continue to innovate with more and more top-notch combos and decals.
