Melville Honored as Offensive Player of the Week

ORLANDO, Fla. – After leading the Knights to another undefeated weekend with sweeps over both SMU and Memphis, McKenna Melville was honored as the league's Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

"McKenna has put the entire team on her back in parts of the season, in specific sets, and when we need it the most," head coach Todd Dagenais said, "We're proud to have a much more balanced offense this year, however, when McKenna is having a good night, chances are we are going to have a good night. We just have the advantage to having somebody who is a libero, defensive specialist, and lead outside hitter all in one person. Hopefully these awards are getting the recognition of the All-American committee."

The Offensive Player of the Week award marks Melville's tenth-career honor and her third just this season.

As the Knights closed out their four-game road trip with four-straight sweeps, Melville had another outstanding weekend over SMU and Memphis.
