ORLANDO – Former UCF men's golf standout Kyle Wilshire has qualified to the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, a PGA TOUR event, after carding a 7-under 65 in the 18-hole Monday qualifier on Oct. 19.

Wilshire earned his spot in the Monday qualifier after tying for 10th at the round one qualifier on Oct. 13 with a 2-under 70 total.
The 2021 Butterfield Bermuda Championship will be played from October 28-31 at Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda. The purse is $6,500,000.
The Butterfield Bermuda Championship, one of only 52 PGA TOUR events, provides its winner with 500 FedEx Cup Points and the winner earns an invitation into The Masters tournament. The 2020 winner of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship was Brian Gay.
A member of the UCF men's golf team from 2010-14, Wilshire helped lead the Knights to a conference title in 2010-11, two NCAA Regional appearances in 2010-11 and 2013-14, and two NCAA Championship appearances in 2011-12 and 2012-13. He was on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2017, playing in 22 events.
