Women's Golf to Tee Off in Evie Odom Invitational

Leaderboard/Pairings

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – With two top-five finishes under their belt to begin the season, the UCF women's golf team will turn their attention to the Evie Odom Invitational (formerly the Princess Anne Collegiate), beginning on Oct. 3 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The Knights won the event in 2019 after posting an 857(+17) score. UCF's Elizabeth Moon was crowned the individual champion after carding a 7-under 203. Moon's 203(-7) total is tied for the lowest 54-hole total in the event's young history.

"We have seen a lot of really positive things from this team thus far," said head coach Emily Marron. "They all have the ability to go low and once we can put that all together on the same day, we will see better team results. We have somewhat of a young team and they are learning and growing with each event."

Marron will roll with the combination of Alyssa Lamoureux, Tunrada Piddon, Camille Banzet, Jess Baker and Zoe Allaux in her lineup, with graduate student Ana Laura Collado set to play as an individual.

The invitional, which is hosted by Old Dominion, will take place over the span of three days, from Sunday, Oct. 3 through Tuesday, Oct. 5. Each day will consist of one 18-hole round of golf at Princess Anne Country Club, a par-70, 5,824-yard course. Fans can follow along with scores live on golfstat.com here.

The Evie Odom Invitational field includes hosts Old Dominion, as well as Campbell, Charlotte, Chattanooga, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, ECU, North Florida, Penn State, Sacramento State, North Carolina and South Florida.

The Knights will tee off at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday from hole one. UCF is paired with Old Dominion and Charlotte to kick things off.
