DripU Report: UCF at Cincinnati

Over the last few years, Big Game Gold has become a bit of tradition for UCF in its top matchups. But it hasn't always worked out, including last year against Cincinnati. So for this year's matchup with the No. 3 Bearcats, why not opt for some Primetime Pewter?

The Knights will be breaking out the pewter pants for the first time since 2019 for this game, pairing them with white helmets and white jerseys to create a high-speed road look as the team hopes to race past Cincinnati's stout defense.

It's the first time UCF has ever paired white helmets with pewter, and the kickoff time should give those helmets a chance to literally shine. The Knights are donning their usual chrome gold decals, but this will be the first time they are worn for a noon game since November 2019. The sunlight should really help those decals to dazzle, playing up the "silver and gold" look of matching gold and pewter together.

Cincinnati presents a massive challenge for UCF and managing to knock them off on its home field would be one of the biggest wins in program history. The small, but first step to that is looking your best. UCF has done that with another clean and brand-new combo.
