ORLANDO, Fla. - The UCF women's soccer team (3-2-0) is back in action as they travel to Oxford, Miss. for a Thursday matchup with Ole Miss (3-0-2) at 7 p.m. ET.
The Knights moved up in the United Soccer Coaches poll after going 1-1 last week, battling to a 4-2 loss on the road against Ohio State, and earning a 2-1 victory over then ranked No. 7 Penn State, who dropped seven spots to No. 14.
Through UCF's five matches, the Black and Gold are outscoring their opponents 10 goals to seven, despite UCF only taking 52 shots compared to 69 taken by opponents. Caroline DeLisle has earned two clean sheets and accumulated 28 saves on the year. Netting two goals against No. 7 Penn State, Kristen Scott now had four goals and is tied for the lead in The American.
Ole Miss enter the contest with a 3-0-2 record, coming off of a 1-1 week including a 4-2 road victory over South Alabama and a 1-1 (2OT) draw with Samford at home.
