Knights Ranked 17 in Latest United Soccer Coaches Poll

ORLANDO, Fla. – For the third week in a row, the UCF women's soccer team (3-2-0) has been recognized in the United Soccer Coaches' Poll, moving up one spot to land at No. 17 in the most recent Top 25.
 
The Knights move up after going 1-1 last week, battling to a 4-2 loss on the road against Ohio State, and earning a 2-1 victory over then ranked No. 7 Penn State, who dropped seven spots to No. 14.
 
Kristen Scott earned her second brace of the season against the Nittany Lions and was named the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts in the win.

NEXT UP
The No. 17 Knights are ready for a one game road trip to Oxford, Miss. as they take on Ole Miss on Thursday, September 9 with a 7 p.m. ET kickoff. The Rebel are 3-0-2 through five games and are coming off of a 1-1 draw against Samford. The UCF women's soccer team will then return to Orlando to host No. 2 North Carolina at the UCF Soccer Complex on Sunday, September 12 at 1:00 p.m.
