ORLANDO, Fla. – Knights senior forward Kristen Scott was named the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after No. 18 UCF defeated No. 7 Penn State at the UCF Soccer Complex on Sunday.
Scott led the UCF offense in the victory, earning a brace and scoring what would be the game-winning goal over Penn State. Her first goal was the first of the match, coming in the 26th minute of the first half. The Orlando native netted her second goal of the match in the 62nd minute, putting the Knights ahead of the Nittany Lions 2-1.
The pair of goals marked her third and fourth goals of the season, which leads the Knights and is tied for the most in The American through five matches.
