UCF Men's Basketball Point Guard Darius Perry led the Knights and ranked seventh in the American Athletic Conference with 14.7 points per game in 2020-21. In his first year in the black and gold, the Marietta, Georgia native also led UCF with 3.4 assists per game and ranked fourth in the conference with an 86.4 percent mark from the free throw line, helping him to secure third-team all-conference honors.
Perry also finished in the Top 10 in the AAC in threes made per game, 3-point percentage, steals per game, and assist-to-turnover ratio. His best outing of the season came in a 27-point effort against Wichita State, where he went 10-of-19 from the field and knocked down five 3-pointers.
Perry was a three-time AAC Weekly Honor Roll recipient in 2020-21 and he is a part of a UCF group that returns 97 percent of its points scored and 96 percent of its minutes played from the 2020-21 season. Watch as Perry and Kennedy Collins break down film from last year.
