ORLANDO – After opening the season with a second-place finish at the Island Resort Collegiate, the UCF men's golf team will be back at on September 20 for the Hartford Hawks Invitational, hosted by the University of Hartford in South Kent, Connecticut.
The invitational begins with two rounds of 18-holes on Monday before wrapping up on Tuesday, September 21 with a final round of 18 holes. The tournament will be played at Bull's Bridge Golf Club, a par-72, 6,992-yard course.
A three-time victor, UCF (2017, 2018, 2019) owns the most team titles at the Hartford Hawks Invitational, while Hartford (2012, 2014) and UConn (2011, 2015) have also won multiple tournament titles.
The Knights will tee off at 8:00 a.m. ET Monday morning in a shotgun start. Full qualifying information for the 2021 edition of the Hartford Hawks Invitational can be found below.
QUALIFYING INFORMATION
- Clement Charmasson will play in the first spot in the lineup at the Hartford Hawks Invitational as a result of finishing in third place at the Island Resort Collegiate Invitational. The top 10 finish earned him an exemption into this event.
- Luis Carrera will play in the second spot in the lineup at the Hartford Hawks Invitational as a result of finishing in tenth place at the Island Resort Collegiate Invitational. The top 10 finish earned him an exemption into this event.
- Johnny Travale will play in the third spot in the lineup at Hartford Hawks Invitational as a result of winning the four-round qualifier with a score of -13.
- Markus Braadlie will play in the fourth spot in the lineup at Hartford Hawks Invitational as a result of coming in fourth in the four-round qualifier with a score of -1.
- The fifth spot is to be determined between Egor Eroshenko and Teddy Tetak.
