ORLANDO – UCF Women's Golf is set and ready to kick off the 2021-22 season on Monday as the Knights will open the year at the Cougar Classic, hosted by the College of Charleston.
The classic opens with two rounds of play on Monday, September 13 and wraps up with a final 18-hole round on Tuesday, September 14, at Yeamans Hall golf course, a par-72, 6,301-yard course. Fans can follow along with scores live on golfstat.com here.
"The Cougar Classic is one of the strongest events on our schedule," said Knights' head coach Emily Marron. "It will be a great opportunity to see where we stack up with the best teams right out of the gate. We are excited about this team and looking forward to see what we can do this year."

The field of competition the Knights will take on over the weekend includes No. 10 Florida, No. 23 Vanderbilt, No. 22 Maryland, No. 15 Baylor, Miami, Clemson, Penn State and more.
With the first official qualifier officially in the books, the Knights will roll out a lineup that consists of junior Tunrada Piddon, sophomores Camille Banzet and Jess Baker, graduate student Ana Laura Collado, and freshman Zoe Allaux, who will see the first collegiate action of her career.
The Knights will tee off in a shotgun start Monday Morning at 8:30 a.m. ET. They will be paired up with Penn State and Clemson.
