UCF Invited to Join Big 12 Conference

Today, UCF was extended an invitation to join the Big 12 Conference, pending approval by the UCF Board of Trustees.

The UCF Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet virtually at 3:15 p.m. today to discuss conference membership.

In the meantime, you are welcome to use this statement: "UCF is excited to receive an invitation to the Big 12 Conference, and we look forward to the conversation with our Board of Trustees this afternoon."

UCF has been a member of the American Athletic Conference since 2013.

UCF will hold a press conference at 3:45 p.m. ET today. The event will be streamed live on @UCFKnights Twitter and Facebook.
