ORLANDO, Fla. – Two members of the UCF men's soccer team find themselves in the top 100 players in college soccer according to TopDrawer as Gino Vivi checks in at No. 14 and Yanis Leerman sits at No. 42. Vivi also earned a spot on the Top Drawer Soccer Best XI Team.

Featured on the 2020-2021 postseason Best XI second team, Vivi, the anchor of the Knight's attack was named to both the All-East Region and All-Conference First Teams in 2020-21. Vivi led the team with 14 points notching five goals, three of them game winners. As the Knights ran through the regular season, the Costa Rican native was crucial in the postseason, scoring the final PK attempt to defeat SMU in the AAC tournament Semifinals. After starting all 14 matches last season, Vivi looks to continue to provide the consistency so important to this team. If Vivi's improvement from freshman to sophomore year after he was named AAC Rookie of the Year is any indication at the upcoming season, Vivi will continue to lead the Knights and make another huge stride as an offensive weapon.

Entering his senior year, Leerman will look to finish off a stellar four years with yet another solid season. The Frenchman's Junior year was special after being awarded a spot on the All-American Second Team, only the ninth Knight in program history to earn the honor. The one thing that was clear about last year's Knights was the brick wall that was its defense, and Leerman led that backline to five shutouts and just four goals conceded in his nine matches back after returning from injury. In his sophomore season, Leerman was named to the All-East Region and All-Conference First Team's. TopDrawer also named him to their Best XI Second Team. TopDrawer had Leerman at No. 21 in last season's top 100 list.
