DeLisle Named AAC Goalkeeper of the Week

ORLANDO, Fla. – UCF women's soccer goalkeeper Caroline DeLisle was named the American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week after the Knights shut out the Longhorns at home, 4-0, to open the fall campaign. Forward Kristen Scott was also named to the Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced on Monday.

In the first match of the '21 slate, DeLisle played the full 90 minutes, saw 10 shots and made five saves on her way to earning her first shutout of the season. The clean sheet marks DeLisle's 13th of her career.

Kristen Scott netted two goals in her first contest of the year, matching her career-high which was set in 2018 against Temple. The first goal of the contest with Texas came just 80 seconds into the match, setting the tone for the entire 90 minutes.
