PRAGUE, Czech Republic – UCF men's golf senior Teddy Tetak finished up play in the D+D Real Czech Masters in Prague, Czech Republic on Friday, barely missing the cut after carding a 2-over 74 score in round two, bringing his two-day total to 147(+3) in his first career European Tour event.
The European Tour cut rule for regular tour events sees the top 65 professionals advance to the weekend. Any player that is lower than 65th place made the cut and plays the final two days of the tournament over the weekend.
Tetak opened play on Friday with two birdies and two bogeys on the front nine before shooting 2-over 38 on the back nine, brining his 18-hole total to 74(+2).
The Czech Masters made its return this season after last year's tournament was cancelled due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The seventh edition of the event once again returned to Albatross Golf Resort in Prague, Czech Republic, which has been the permanent home of the event. Tetak's participation in the Czech Masters marks his European Tour debut.
