Knights Earn 2-0 Exhibition Win at Miami

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – In its final preseason exhibition contest of the 2021 campaign, the UCF women's soccer team came away with a 2-0 victory on the road Saturday morning against Miami.
 
The Knights controlled the match from the start, outshooting the Hurricanes 14-7 and putting eight shots on goal compared to Miami's one. Caroline DeLisle picked up one save in the contest, stopping the only shot on goal from the Hurricanes during her time in net.
 
Maggie Jenkins got the scoring going for UCF, netting her first goal of the preseason with an assist coming from Kristen Scott just before halftime. In the 74th minute of the match, Maggie Jenkins then picked up an assist as Kailey Scott scored her first goal of the 2021 preseason.
 
The Black and Gold held strong for the final third of the contest to earn the victory in the last exhibition before kicking off the 2021 campaign.
