ORLANDO – Former UCF men's basketball players Matt Williams (2012-17), Tristan Spurlock (2010-14) and Keith Clanton (2009-13) were just two wins shy of winning $1 million dollars and making The Basketball Tournament history heading into Sunday as the trio squared off against Boeheims Army in Dayton, Ohio, but the former Knights ultimately fell short, 66-64 in the single elimination tournament and their run came to a close.

Florida TNT entered the tournament as one of 64 teams competing across four regions for the $1 million winner-take-all prize. With four straight victories to open play, Florida TNT were crowned the Wichita regional champions before falling to Boeheims Army on Sunday.

Sunday's game came down to the wire. With Florida TNT holding the slight, 58-53 edge heading into the elam ending, Boeheims Army came back to close the gap and tie the game at 62. Needing just four points to win, Florida TNT's Keith Clanton was fouled and made both of his free throws to bring his team to within two points of victory.

Unfortunately, Boeheims Army would go on to score four straight, claiming the 66-64 win and knocking Florida TNT out.

Clanton posted his second double-double of TBT in the loss, knocking down 18 points to go along with 16 rebounds and two blocked shots. Clanton is UCF's all-time leader with 129 games played, as well as the Knights' all-time rebounds leader with 1,000 boards.

Meanwhile, Spurlock was 1-of-3 for three points while Williams, who holds the UCF men's basketball record with 274 threes, as well as the program record for most threes made in a season (126) and a single game (11), missed his only shot of the semifinal game on Sunday.
