ORLANDO – A trio of former UCF Men's Basketball players are just two wins shy of winning $1 million dollars and making The Basketball Tournament history as Matt Williams (2012-17), Tristan Spurlock (2010-14) and Keith Clanton (2009-13) were on the winning Florida TNT team that took down Aftershocks, 92-63, in the quarterfinals Saturday afternoon in Dayton, Ohio.

Florida TNT entered the tournament as one of 64 teams competing across four regions for the $1 million winner-take-all prize. With the victory over Aftershocks Saturday afternoon, Florida TNT are the Wichita regional champions and are one of four final teams remaining in TBT.

It was a showing of pure dominance for Florida TNT in the opening round of championship week in Dayton. Up 15 points at the half, Florida TNT didn't let up, expanding their lead to nearly 30 points before Dominique Jones knocked down the three to secure the win and send Florida TNT to the next round.

Clanton, who has been the highest scoring of the three former Knights on Florida TNT to this point in the tournament with 30 combined points through three games, posted another solid effort in the win on Saturday. The 6-foot-9 big man scored eight points and was 4-of-5 from the field. He also added eight rebounds, three assists and a block. Clanton is UCF's all-time leader with 129 games played, as well as the Knights' all-time rebounds leader with 1,000 boards.

Williams, who holds the UCF men's basketball record with 274 threes, as well as the program record for most threes made in a season (126) and a single game (11), knocked down a three pointer in Florida TNT's win on Saturday. Meanwhile, Spurlock contributed with six points, three rebounds and a steal.

With the win, Florida TNT are just two wins shy of their first ever TBT title. They will play in the semifinals Sunday, August 1, at 12:00 p.m. ET against the winner of Golden Eagles and Boeheim's Army, who are scheduled to face off at 2:00 p.m. ET Saturday.
