Brown: It's Been a Great Week of Work [at Warriors Minicamp]
"It's been great to be able to get into the system and workout with all of these guys. I've built some great relationships with a lot of the coaches, and just overall it's been a great week of work. Guys out here work hard and move the ball really well. They play as one, so I definitely have grown to like the Warriors organization a lot."
It's A Blessing to be Able to Travel the World and Experience New Things
"From a non-basketball perspective, it's been great to live overseas and experience different countries and cultures. I've spent a lot of time in Greece, Germany, and just recently returned from Canada, so I've been traveling a lot and it's been great. It's a blessing to be able to travel the world and experience new things with my fiancé."
Peristeri Called Me with a Great Opportunity
"It's a great opportunity for me. They are a great team and organization. They play in the Greek League and the Champions League as well, which produces some really high-level basketball over in Europe. Peristeri called me with a great opportunity, and having played in Greece before, I knew it was a great club and organization, so I think this is going to be good for me. I'm definitely excited for it."
My Time at UCF Was Great
"There are so many great memories from my time playing at UCF to choose from. I was on some great teams. From my sophomore year, which was Coach Dawkins's first year, we made it all the way to the NIT Final Four and got to play in Madison Square Garden in New York. That was a great team and we really played well together. My senior season was a very historic year for UCF Men's Basketball with us making it to the NCAA Tournament and getting our first win in the tournament in program history. My time at UCF was great and I definitely learned a lot there that has helped mold me into the person that I am today."
I Definitely Appreciate Everything that UCF Has Done for Me
"I learned a lot in my time at UCF. I think I grew a lot as both a basketball player and person. I learned to never take anything for granted and to take advantage of every opportunity that you get. When you play basketball on the court, go hard each and every second. Take no breaks off. Off the court, I learned to be the person that is always reliable – the person you can always count on. Coach Dawkins definitely put that in our heads, and I learned a lot from him. My time at UCF was amazing and I definitely appreciate everything that UCF has done for me."
