Steve Sims Announced as Women’s Golf Associate Head Coach

ORLANDO, Fla. – UCF women's golf head coach Emily Marron announced on Friday that Steve Sims will be promoted to Associate Head Coach after eight seasons with the program.
 
"Steve has been a big part of our success here at UCF over the past eight seasons," head coach Emily Marron said of Sims. "His dedication and loyalty to our team is remarkable. We have built a really great program here and I am happy to have Steve with us to help continue our growth."
 
The Knights have made five NCAA Regional appearances and one NCAA National Championship in Steve Sims' time as an assistant coach. In conference play with Sims' assistance, UCF has won two conference championships and finished in the top-two in five of his seasons with the program. The Black and Gold have also earned four Freshman of the Year awards, three Player of the Year awards, and 16 all-conference selections with Sims' as an assistant.
