ORLANDO – Florida TNT is moving on in the The Basketball Tournament after eliminating Kimchi Express, 83-59, Saturday afternoon in Wichita, Kansas.

Former UCF standouts Matt Williams (2012-17), Tristan Spurlock (2010-14) and Keith Clanton (2009-13) were on the winning squad, playing as one of 64 teams competing across four regions for the $1 million winner-take-all prize.

Williams was excellent in his TBT debut, shooting 3-of-7 from beyond the arc, contributing nine points and six rebounds. The Orlando native is the UCF all-time leader with 274 career threes, and also holds the program record for most threes made in a season (126) and a single game (11).

Clanton, playing in his fourth career TBT, contributed with four points after shooting 2-of-5 from the field. He also added three assists and a rebound.  Spurlock did not play in the opening round for Florida TNT.

Florida TNT's next game will be on Sunday, July 15 at 7:00 p.m. in Wichita. They will play the winner of LA Cheaters and Mental Toughness, who are scheduled to play at 3:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

If Florida TNT makes it out of the Wichita regional, they will travel to Dayton, Ohio for the championship week, where eight teams, the top two from each regional, will compete for the $1 million grand prize from July 31 – August 3.
