Lamoureux to Compete in U.S. Women’s Open

San Francisco, Calif. – For the first time in UCF women's golf history, a current member of the squad will compete in the U.S Women's Open, as Alyssa Lamoureux is set to take on the field in San Francisco, Calif. Lamouruex's first round tee time is set for 5:31 p.m. ET on Thursday, and her second round will come at 12:16 p.m. ET on Friday.

The 76th U.S. Women's Open will be played June 3-6 at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, a par-71 course, set up to be 6,486 yards for the Women's Open.

The Seminole, Fla. native punched her ticket after carding a three-over performance over a two-day qualifying event at the Bradenton Country Club in early May, shooting a two-under par 72 round to top her nearest competitor by a stroke.

Alyssa Lamoureux will join former UCF women's golfer Stephanie Connelly (2009), who qualified as an alumnus in 2015, as the only two Knights to compete in the U.S. Women's Open.
