ORLANDO, Fla. – As the 2021 fall campaign approaches, the UCF women's soccer team announced the signing of a pair of incoming freshmen, Xashlie Negron and Paige Scuro.
Defender Xashlie Negron, an Orlando, Fla. native joins her Hometown Team from Montverde Academy. During her time at Monteverde, she helped lead the Eagles to back-to-back Class 4A Girls Soccer State Championships her freshman and sophomore years, and the No. 1 ranked high school team in the during her junior season.
Paige Scuro joins the Black & Gold after competing with South Carolina United FC in the ECNL GU18/19 as a midfielder and forward.
Negron and Scuro will be joining the Knights in the fall, in addition to the three recruits and two incoming transfers previously announced.
