Isaiah Adams to Enter NBA Draft, Maintain Eligibility

UCF freshman forward Isaiah Adams announced Tuesday on his Instagram account that he will be entering his name into the 2021 NBA Draft, while maintaining his eligibility.

After spending time speaking with my family and coaches, I have decided to enter my name into the 2021 NBA Draft while maintaining my eligibility. Playing in the NBA has always been a dream of mine. I hope to learn a lot through this process and I thank Knight Nation for all of their support.

Charge On!

Adams averaged 9.9 points and 3.9 rebounds per game, starting 12 times and appearing in 22 of 23 games as a true freshman in 2020-21. He was named to The American's All-Freshman Team and was named the AAC Freshman of the Week three times.

The Jacksonville native ranked ninth in the conference, shooting 46.6 percent from the field, and was 12th with 1.3 steals per game. He led all true freshmen in The American in scoring and averaged 17.0 points per game over his last four contests.
