Knights Finish Strong at Augusta Haskins Award Invitational

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The UCF men's golf team held steady in the final day of 2021 Augusta Haskins Award Invitational in Augusta, Georgia, posting a 858(-6) finish to close out the tournament tied with No. 6 Arizona State in sixth place.
 
No. 3 Oklahoma State won the invitational with a 827(-37) score.
 
At sixth place, the Knights outshot No. 24 South Florida (864, E) and No. 38 South Carolina (870, +6), and UCF was only two strokes shy of No. 14 Arizona (856, -8) for fifth place.
 
Building on a tremendous first two rounds, Johnny Travale shot 71(-1) on the final day in Augusta to finished tied for sixth place among individuals in the tournament with a (209, -7) score. Clement Charmassson also had a strong showing over the weekend as the junior from Toulouse, France finished even with par in round three to bring his two-day total to 212(-4), tying him for 15th place.
 
Teddy Tetak also finished in the top 30 as the second-year Knight shot 71(-1) in round three to finish with a 216(E) score.
 
Max O'Hagan shot 75(+3) on Sunday to bring his three-round total to 222(+6) while freshman Egor Eroshenko turned in a 74(+2) round to sit at 225(+9).

The Knights will enjoy almost three weeks off before heading to Brooksville, Florida for the American Athletic Conference Championship Tournament.
