ORLANDO, Fla. – The No. 13 UCF men's tennis team continues their streak of matches against ranked opponents as they visit No. 37 South Florida on Saturday and host No. 25 Tulane on Sunday.

The Knights enter the weekend riding a five-match winning streak, all of them over ranked opponents. Their last match may have been their most impressive win of the 2021 campaign, coming back from down 3-1 on the scoreboard and losing five of six first sets. Trey Hilderbrand, Juan Pablo Grassi Mazzuchi and Gabriel Decamps all played a part in overcoming the deficit to secure the team's 13th win of the season. Decamps' victory was his 13th in a row and moved him to 7-1 against ranked opponents.

South Florida has a bit of a streak against ranked opponents as well, playing three in a row. The Bulls have fallen in those three, losing 6-1 to No. 5 Texas, No. 46 Middle Tennessee and No. 25 Tulane. In total, South Florida is 11-7 this year. The Knights stormed their way to a 6-1 victory over the Bulls earlier in the campaign, earning three War On I-4 points in the process. Saturday's match will be worth three more points to the total tally. The Black and Gold currently lead the all-sports battle 30.75-16.5. UCF baseball will also be facing the Bulls in Tampa on Saturday, with first pitch scheduled just a half an hour before first serve.

The Knights return home on Sunday as they'll face their eighth straight ranked opponent and 11th straight who is ranked or receiving votes. Tulane will enter the match with an 11-5 record and riding a four-match winning streak. They've beaten No. 29 Memphis, No. 39 Auburn, No. 41 LSU and No. 37 South Florida on their run.
