ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF women's tennis team remains at No. 8 in the Oracle/ITA team rankings and has two players in this week's edition of the singles rankings.

The Knights stay put at their highest ranking in program history after winning back-to-back conference titles this past weekend, beating South Florida, Houston and No. 46 Tulsa along the way. UCF jumped from No. 18 to No. 8 in the team rankings after defeating then-No. 4 FSU on the road back on Apr. 16. The victory over the Seminoles was the first time the Black and Gold had beat a top five team in program history.

Valeriya Zeleva climbs another two spots in this week's singles rankings to No. 17, once again setting a personal and program best. After losing the first two matches of the season, Zeleva has won 12 straight matches and is 7-2 against ranked opposition.

UCF captain Rebeka Stolmar checks in at No. 37 this week in singles. She's been victorious in her last two decisions and is 12-6 on the campaign. She has become the team's go-to No. 2 singles player as she has gone 7-4 there.

Zeleva and Stolmar are the conference's two highest ranked singles players.

Due to scheduling situations caused by COVID-19, the Oracle/ITA releases a computerized ranking as well as a poll each week. The Black and Gold sit at No. 8 in the computer ranking and No. 9 in the poll. The Tennis Channel/USTA College Tennis Top 25 has UCF at No. 9 this week after having them at No. 12 the week prior.

This week's release of the Oracle/ITA rankings are the final ones prior to the NCAA Tournament.
