UCF Spirit to Compete in UCA National Competition

ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF cheerleading and dance squads will compete in the Universal Cheer Association national championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando on Tuesday, April 27.
 
A year ago, the UCF cheer squad took home the Cheer Division IA National Championship for their third national title. The Knights have now placed Top 10 in the College Cheerleading National Championships 25 times in the last 27 years under Head Coach Linda Gooch, including the 2020 Championship and two more in 2003 and 2007.

Tuesday, April 27
Dance Division IA Game Day Semi-Finals begin at 9:06 a.m. with UCF scheduled to take the floor at 10:18 a.m. at the Hp Field House located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
 
Division IA Jazz Semi-Finals begin at 1:00 p.m. with UCF scheduled to take the floor at 1:18 p.m. in Arena East (Blue) at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
 
Cheer Division IA Semi-Finals begin at 6:00 p.m. with UCF scheduled to take the floor at 6:36 p.m. at the Hp Field House located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Wednesday, April 28
Dance Division IA Game Day Finals start at 9:06 a.m. with UCF scheduled to take the floor at 9:18 a.m. in Arena East (Blue) at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
 
Division IA Jazz Finals begin at 1:00 p.m. with UCF scheduled to take the floor at 1:18 p.m. in Hp Field House at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
 
Cheer Division IA Finals begin at 5:30 p.m. with UCF scheduled to take the floor at 5:54 p.m. in the Hp Field House located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
 
Award Schedule, April 28
Dance Division IA Game Day – 7 pm
Division IA Jazz – 7 pm
Cheer Division IA – Top 3: 7:30pm, Final award: 8pm
