Knights to Play in Augusta Haskins Award Invitational

ORLANDO – The Knights are set for their second straight week of play and fifth tournament of the season as head coach Bryce Wallor and his squad are in Augusta, Georgia for the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational, which will take place from April 3-4.
 
Over the event's 38 years of history, several touring pros have participated, such as Davis Love III, Phil Mickelson (1989), Brad Faxon, Justin Leonard (1992), Vaughn Taylor (1998), Oliver Wilson (2001, 2003), Chris Kirk (2005), Scott Brown (2006), Dustin Johnson (2007), Henrik Norlander (2010), Jordan Spieth, Patrick Reed, Beau Hossler (2016), to name a few.
 
The invitational will be played at Forest Hills Golf Club, featuring a par 72, 7,053-yard course.
 
The 18-hole course was originally designed by world renowned course architect Donald Ross, but it was renovated by the Arnold Palmer Company in 2004. Forest Hills is repeatedly named "Best Public Course" by Augusta Magazine and offers traditional Southern topography with level, rolling fairways surrounded by magnificent trees.

The Knights will utilize the same lineup as last weekend at the John Hayt Collegiate as Clement CharmassonEgor Eroshenko and Johnny Travale, Max O'Hagan and Teddy Tetak will suit up for the black and gold.
 
The field of competition the Knights will take on includes six top-25 teams in No. 17 Pepperdine, No. 3 Oklahoma State, No. 5 Illinois, No. 6 Arizona State, No. 14 Arizona, and No. 24 South Florida, as well as host school Augusta, South Carolina, Notre Dame, College of Charleston, Georgia State, Virginia Tech, Kennesaw State, and Army West Point.

There were no qualifying rounds for the 2021 Augusta Haskins Award Invitational due to events being played on back-to-back weekends. Qualifying information can be found below.

QUALIFYING INFORMATION

  1. Max O'Hagan will play in the first spot in the lineup at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational as he posted a top-25 finish at the John Hayt Collegiate, making him exempt.
  2. Johnny Travale will play in the second spot in the lineup at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational as he also posted a top-25 finish at the John Hayt Collegiate, making him exempt.
  3. Egor Eroshenko will play in the third spot in the lineup at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational as he also posted a top-25 finish at the John Hayt Collegiate, making him exempt.
  4. Teddy Tetak will play in the fourth spot in the lineup at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational as a coaches' selection.
  5. Clement Charmasson will play in the fifth spot in the lineup at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational as a coaches' selection.
