UCF Among Leaders Heading into Final Round

PINEHURST, N.C. – Heading into the final round of the American Athletic Conference Championship, the UCF women's golf team are in third place as a team. The Knights shot 302 (+14) on day two for a 595 (+19) team score, one stroke behind the leaders, Tulsa and East Carolina.
 
UCF is led by Tunrada Piddon and Camille Banzet through two rounds. Banzet added a 75 (+3) to yesterday's one-over round while Piddon shot her second two-over round to each shoot 148 (+4) total and are tied for 7th.
 
Sitting T10 after two rounds, Ana Laura Collado is one stroke behind Piddon and Banzet with a 149 (+5) two-round score. Alyssa Lamoureux finds herself one stroke out of the top-10, carding a 76 (+4) on the second day for a two round score of 150 (+6).
 
Chinatsu Kobayashi posted an 80 (+8) on the second day of the tournament and is +11 through two rounds.
 
East Carolina leaped three spots with a 296 (+8) round on day two to land in second place, jumping the Knights to tie Tulsa in first. Tulsa shot a 301 (+13), one-under the Knights to hold steady in the lead.
 
The final round of the American Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship will air on ESPN+, coverage is expected to begin at 11 a.m. (ET).
