ORLANDO, Fla. – The No. 18 UCF women's tennis team is set for another conference showdown as they host No. 46 Tulsa in their final match of the regular season on Monday at 2 p.m. The initial start time of 12 p.m. was moved due to weather.
The Knights are fresh off a historic win over No. 4 FSU on Friday, beating the Seminoles 4-3 with Valeriya Zeleva earning the clinching victory. The defeat of Florida State was the second time in program history and the second time in the last three meetings that UCF has come out on top. More importantly, the Knights earned their first victory over a top five team in program history with Friday's victory.
The Golden Hurricane are 13-5 this season and are currently on a two-match winning streak. Tulsa's lone ranked singles player is Martina Okalova, sitting at No. 89. Okalova and Vera Ploner check in the doubles rankings at No. 77.
