ORLANDO, Fla. – After splitting a pair of weekend matches in the state of Oklahoma, the UCF women's tennis team checks in at No. 17 in this week's edition of the Oracle/ITA team rankings.
The ITA released two sets of team rankings this week, a computer version and a coaches poll edition. The Knights are No. 18 in the computer poll and No. 17 in the coaches set of rankings.
UCF has climbed as high as No. 16 this season and look to beat their program-best ranking of No. 12 which was achieved early in the 2020 campaign.
The Tennis Channel/USTA College Tennis Top 25 has UCF at No. 17 as well this week.
The Black and Gold have three matches left on their schedule with two against ranked opponents. The Knights will face South Florida in the two team's annual War On I-4 rivalry matchup this Friday. After that UCF, will take their final road trip of the regular season as they visit No. 4 FSU on Apr. and conclude the season on Apr. 19 at home against No. 45 Tulsa.
UP NEXT
With just three matches left in the regular season, the Knights return home to face their rivals South Florida on Friday at 2 p.m. UCF leads the Bulls in the all-sports War On I-4 tally, holding a 34.5-16.5 edge.
