ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball committee announced the 48-team field that will compete in the 2020-21 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship, and the Knights (16-1) will be playing High Point (16-0) in the first round of the tournament on Wednesday, April 14 in Omaha, Nebraska. The first round match is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.

If the Knights take down the Panthers, they will move on to play No. 7 Purdue in the second round. To view the full, 48-team bracket, click here.

Thirty conferences were awarded an automatic qualification, while the remaining 18 positions were filled with at-large selections to complete the bracket. As the winners of the American Athletic Conference, the Knights secured an automatic bid.

2020-21 will mark the Knights' 11th appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

"It's so exciting to be a part of another selection Sunday. That's three in a row now," UCF Volleyball Head Coach Todd Dagenais said. "Fortunately, we were able to go out and win the conference to guarantee our spot… Now, all of our energy will go into preparing to play High Point."

The Knights' conference championship victory marked their second straight AAC Tournament Championship win as the Knights also won the inaugural conference tournament in Orlando in 2019, and it is UCF's third overall conference title as the Knights went undefeated in 2018 to claim the regular-season title.

The Knights have posted a 16-1 overall record and an undefeated, 8-0 record in league play to this point in 2020-21.
