ORLANDO, Fla. – Eight games into the baseball season, and the Knights are set for just their third home contest of the season as they welcome Liberty to John Euliano Park for a three-game set. The Knights will play a doubleheader on Friday, Mar. 5 with game one set for 2 p.m. with game two beginning roughly 45 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Game three will take place on Sunday, Mar. 7 at 11 a.m.
The Knights (3-5) are heading into their first full weekend series at home to host the Liberty Flames for the first time since 1991. UCF sits 5-0 all-time against Liberty, with all five meetings coming in Orlando, and their first meeting taking place in 1986.
Freshman, Alex Freeland leads the Knights with a .484 clip at the plate and has plated eight runs. Ben McCabe has opened the season on a tear, showing off the power with four home runs to lead the Knights, who have slugged 12 so far.
The three Knights starting pitchers (Colton Gordon, Hunter Patteson, AJ Jones) combined for 18 innings, a 2.50 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, 23 strikeouts, and four walks against No. 1 Ole Miss a week ago.

- Through seven games of the year, Freshman Alex Freeland is hitting a .484 clip with one double, one home run, and 3 RBI.
- On his way to his first victory as a Knight, AJ Jones tossed 10 strikeouts against No. 1 Ole Miss. Jones's 10 strikeouts were just one shy of tying his career-high.

John Euliano Park will be restricted to 25% capacity for home games this season and proper physical distancing and masks will be required.
ALL seating within John Euliano park will be general admission with seats being available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Season ticket members will receive one ticket for each home event. Due to the fluid nature of our schedule, fans will be able to exchange tickets from games they are unable to attend or from any postponed/canceled games to a different game during the season, online through their UCF account manager.
