ORLANDO – Having won three games in a row, the UCF men's basketball team aims to make it four consecutive wins to end the regular season when the Knights head to Greenville to take on ECU Thursday night in American Athletic Conference action. UCF and ECU are scheduled to tip off at 9 p.m. with coverage from Minges Coliseum on ESPNU and FM 96.9 The Game.
The Knights (9-11, 7-10) have won three straight games and four of their last five after defeating Tulsa on Tuesday. UCF is currently in seventh place in the conference standings, but could move ahead of sixth place Tulsa in percentage points with a win over the Pirates.
ECU (8-8, 2-8) has not played since Feb. 8, a home loss to SMU. The Pirates have been paused due to COVID-19 protocols, but had beaten ranked Houston not too long before their hiatus. ECU's final game of the regular season is scheduled for Sunday against Cincinnati.
UCF leads the all-time series over ECU, 24-9, and the Knights have won each of the last 10 meetings between the two teams. In games played in Greenville, UCF 10-4 all-time against the Pirates.

Won Four of Last Five
- UCF has won four of its last five games, and the Knights are scoring 71.8 points per game - 4.4 more points per game than their season average - and allowing just 66.6 points per game, 3.7 less points than their season average during the stretch.

Good From Long Distance
- The Knights are currently leading The American in 3-point shooting, hitting at a 36.3 percent clip on the season.
- If the season ended today, it would be UCF's best 3-point shooting mark in a season since shooting 39.4 percent during the 2006-07 season.
- The Knights also rank second in the league with 8.0 made 3-pointers per game, which would be the most for a UCF team in a single season since making 8.6 threes per game during the 2004-05 campaign.
- Green currently leads the way with 46 makes, while Mahan is tops with 43.2 percent mark.
Mr. Basketball Makes His Mark
- Isaiah Adams, the former Florida Mr. Basketball, broke out for a career-high 26 points on 10-of-11 shooting from the field in UCF's win at Tulane on Feb. 20.
- It marked the seventh best single-game shooting performance in UCF history.
- He also went 4-of-5 from 3-point range and 2-of-2 from the line while dishing out five assists.
- On Tuesday Adams again led the Knights, scoring 19 points on a trio of 3-pointers.
- Adams is averaging 9.5 points per game, which is second most among all frehsmen in the AAC and the most among true freshmen.
- He leads the team and ranks ninth in the league with a 47.3 percent mark from the floor and is 13th with with 1.3 steals per game.
