Knights Continue Road Trip at Stetson

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnighs.com) – The UCF baseball team will continue their road trip as they travel to Stetson on Wednesday, March 2 for the Knights' second mid-week matchup of the season. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. in Deland, Fla.

UCF is fresh off of a series victory over No. 1 Ole Miss in Oxford, Miss. AJ Jones was named American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week after his game three start where he tossed 6.0 IP, fanned 10 batters, allowed just a single run, and earned the win. The grad transfer's win marks his first as a Knight, and clinched UCF the series victory.

Stetson is undefeated through nine games of their 2021 season, including shutting out the Knights 7-0 when they met just over a week ago. Despite falling to the Hatters, the UCF has still won 16 out of the last 24 games against Stetson and hold the lead 74-50 in their 125-game history.

First pitch is set for Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. at Melching Field at Conrad Park in Deland, Fla. and can be streamed on ESPN+.
