ORLANDO – The UCF men's golf team is headed to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida as the Knights will play in their fourth tournament of the spring, the John Hayt Collegiate, from Sunday, March 28 through Monday, March 29.
"The Hayt" will be played at Sawgrass Country Club, featuring a par 72, 6,966 yards course. It will take place over two days as teams will play 54 holes total (36 on day one with an 8:00 a.m. modified shotgun start and 18 on day two with 8:00 a.m. split tee start). Day one will feature foursomes while the final round will be played in threesomes.
Head coach Bryce Waller will roll with 2020-21 mainstays Clement Charmasson, Egor Eroshenko and Johnny Travale at the top of the lineup, with Max O'Hagan and Teddy Tetak rounding things out.
Guillermo Estivill will suit up for the first time this season as he is set to play as an individual in the tournament.
The Knights will have their work cut out for them as they face an absolutely stacked field of competition, including five top-25 opponents in No. 1 Florida State, No. 3 Wake Forest, No. 14 Clemson, No. 15 Liberty and No. 23 South Florida. North Florida, Augusta, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Jacksonville, Louisville, UAB and USC Upstate round out the rest of the field.

QUALIFYING INFORMATION
- Clement Charmasson will play in the first spot in the lineup at the John Hayt Collegiate as he posted a top-20 finish at the General Hackler Championship, making him exempt.
- Egor Eroshenko will play in the second spot in the lineup at the John Hayt Collegiate as a coaches' selection after finishing the three-round qualifier with a score of +8.
- Johnny Travale will play in the third spot in the lineup at the John Hayt Collegiate as a coaches' selection after finishing the three-round qualifier with a score of +12.
- Max O'Hagan will play in the fourth spot in the lineup at the John Hayt Collegiate as a coaches' selection after finishing the three-round qualifier with a score of +5.
- Teddy Tetak will play in the fifth spot in the lineup at the John Hayt Collegiate as a coaches' selection after finishing the three-round qualifier with a score of +14.
