ORLANDO – Considering recently updated CDC guidelines, and with guidance from university health officials, UCF is adjusting its physical distancing guidelines at outdoor athletics events from six feet to three feet, beginning today.
All spectators are still required to wear a face covering at events, except when actively eating or drinking in their own seats.
Capacity at the remainder of spring outdoor contests, including the April 10 football spring game, will be approximately 50 percent under these new guidelines. More details on the spring game are still to come.
A limited number of additional tickets is now available for the remainder of UCF softball and baseball home games, including the 22nd-ranked softball team's game tonight, March 24, against fifth-rated Florida. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
