Charmasson Leads Way in Final Day of General Hackler Championship

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Knights continued to move up the leaderboard in the final day at the General Hackler Championship in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Tuesday, shooting 305(+17) to bring their total at the tournament to 897(+33) and finish tied for 11th place with ECU and ahead of Penn State, Virginia Tech and Miami University (Ohio).

UCF Junior and Toulouse, France native Clement Charmasson demonstrated his veteran leadership on Tuesday as he paced the Knights with their lowest round of the event, shooting 70(-2) on the day to finish the tournament tied for 20th among individuals at 219(+3).
 
Freshman Egor Eroshenko was second on the leaderboard for the Knights with a 76(+4) day two, bringing his three-day total to 226(+10). Meanwhile, juniors Teddy Tetak and Johnny Travale shot 79(+7) and 80(+8), respectively.
 
Paul Swindell rounded things out with a 83(+11) day three and the UCF individual in the tournament, Juan Delgado, shot 79 in the final round to move his three-day total to 231(+15).

UCF will enjoy a week off before heading to Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. to play in the UNF hosted John Hayt Collegiate from March 28-29.
