UCF Home and Away Priority Points
Since 2006, UCF Athletics has awarded priority points in several different categories that combine for a total figure.
Due to current tax laws, UCF Athletics has two different priority point totals--one for home ticket allocations (home priority points) and one for non-home ticket allocations (away priority points), including football bowl games.
Home Priority Points
Your home priority points total will be used for the assignment of your priority related to on-campus events, such as season-ticket seat upgrades, seat add-ons, season-ticket wait lists, etc. Your total home priority points will be viewable in your Ticketmaster account manager.
Please see below for a description on how home priority points are accumulated:
Home Priority Points Calculation
- Total consecutive years as a football season-ticket holder since 2008 – 1 point per year
- Total consecutive years as a season-ticket holder for baseball, basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball since 2008 – 1 point per year
- Lifetime athletic giving – 1 point per $100
- Lifetime athletic philanthropic donations through Dec. 31, 2017*
- Season ticket-related per-seat revenue
*Under the Tax Reform Act of 2018, athletic giving in exchange for the right to purchase tickets or seating at an athletic event in a university’s stadium can no longer take a charitable deduction; therefor any giving after Dec. 31, 2017, must not be used for stadium seat location to remain a charitable deduction.
Home Priority Points Example
Mike has been a football season-ticket holder since 2010 and a volleyball season-ticket holder since 2015. His lifetime athletic giving through Dec. 31, 2017, amounts to $15,000, which includes all per-seat ticket revenue and philanthropic donations. From Jan. 1, 2018, he had four football season tickets in a $300 per-seat season-ticket section. His home priority points would be calculated as follows:
CATEGORY | AMOUNT | POINTS AWARDED |
---|---|---|
Lifetime athletic giving through 12/31/17 | $15,000 | 150 |
Per seat contribution since 1/1/18 | $3,600 | 36 |

Volleyball season tickets | 5 | 5 |
